Information you choose to provide

When you call, email, or submit a service request, Saylor Marine may receive your name, email address, telephone number, preferred contact method, and information about your vessel, its location, access, timing, condition, and requested work.

You may also provide photographs or documents. Please do not upload Social Security numbers, financial account information, passwords, medical information, or other sensitive personal records. This website does not collect payment-card information.

Information used to operate the website

The website uses limited technical information to operate securely and prevent abusive submissions. For example, a one-way coded version of a network address may be stored temporarily with a request for rate limiting and spam prevention. Website hosting and storage providers may also process ordinary connection and security information needed to deliver and protect the site.

Saylor Marine does not currently use the website for behavioral advertising, does not sell personal information, and does not use submitted service information to build advertising profiles.

Website analytics

Saylor Marine uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how the public website is found and used. Analytics may collect information such as pages viewed, approximate geographic area, device and browser type, referring source, outbound-link activity, and interactions such as telephone, email, or service-request selections. The private owner dashboard is excluded from this measurement.

This information is used in aggregate to improve the website, understand which services are useful to visitors, and measure whether the site produces legitimate service inquiries. Saylor Marine does not send the contents of service-request forms, uploaded photographs, customer names, email addresses, or telephone numbers to Google Analytics.

How information is used

• Review and respond to service inquiries.
• Understand the vessel, location, concern, requested timing, and access needs.
• Prepare for inspections, repairs, vessel care, installations, or project work.
• Communicate findings, scheduling information, photographs, documents, and next steps.
• Maintain service, project, accounting, and business records when work proceeds.
• Protect the website and service-request system from misuse.

When information may be shared

Information may be handled by service providers that host the website, store request records and uploaded files, or support normal business operations. When a project requires a specialist or trusted contractor, relevant vessel and project information may be shared as reasonably necessary to evaluate, coordinate, or perform the requested work.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect a person or property, or to investigate suspected fraud, abuse, or a security incident. Saylor Marine does not sell customer information to unrelated parties.

Storage, security, and retention

Online requests are kept in access-controlled record and file storage. Uploaded files are limited to supported image and PDF formats and are checked before being accepted. Access is limited to the owner and others who need the information for legitimate service or administrative purposes.

No online system can promise absolute security. Saylor Marine uses reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information collected and will respond to a qualifying data breach as required by applicable law.

Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed to evaluate the request, perform and document approved work, maintain legitimate business and legal records, resolve disputes, or protect the business and its customers. Information that is no longer needed may be deleted or de-identified.

Your choices

You may ask to review, correct, or delete information you submitted. Some records may need to be retained for completed work, accounting, legal obligations, safety documentation, dispute resolution, or other legitimate business purposes.

Children

This website and its service-request form are intended for adults seeking marine services. They are not directed to children under 13, and Saylor Marine does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website.

Policy updates

This policy may be updated when the website, business practices, or applicable requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when a material update is published.
